Learnings of the past couple days.

       So these past few days I have joined the masses and decided to go back to work for two weeks (to cover for someone with a family emergency). I have decided I am not meant to be a lunch lady, which I think most of us already knew. Things I have learned so far are that:  mustard goes in homemade mac and cheese (but I am definitely cutting back next week), jello will spill before it sets, jello flavors should NEVER be mixed, and always count your buns. Popcorn is also the most athletic food I have ever seen. Apparently I "look calm and graceful" and I guess that's what matters.

       Went into Brandon yesterday for dog food, Corral Centre (Walmart, Home Depot and strip malls) is now open, but wow is it hard to get in and out of there. The flooding has gone down but it is still scary high. Went down to Minot last Friday and same thing down there. Though I am amazed at how the US just adds foot after foot of mud, sand and asphault on the original highway so you can still drive on it, just way higher. 

      On the school front I am pulling out my hair, while staying on top of things. Taking a course on addictions, a disabilities course and a theories/communications course are keeping me busy. Distance education has proven to be my friend. While the dog continues to excavate the yard, I think I will plant the rose bush tonight...    oh yeah the homework.
